They're usually installed outdoors, on the roof, or on a concrete slab beside the building. Packaged air conditioners are often used in commercial buildings or residential settings where space is limited.

Hybrid Air Conditioner: These systems use the stable temperature of the ground to provide heating, cooling, and hot water. They're highly efficient but require installation of underground piping, making them more expensive upfront.
